The Zentralfriedhof (English: Central Cemetery) is one of the largest cemeteries in the world, largest by number of interred in Europe and most famous  cemetery  among  Vienna's nearly 50 cemeteries.  Interred in the Zentralfriedhof are notables such as Ludwig van Beethoven; Franz Schubert, Falco, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart;Johannes Brahms; Antonio Salieri; Johann Strauss II and Arnold Schoenberg. 

 

 

 

The Gasometers in Vienna are four former gas tanks, each of 90,000 m³ storage capacity. After the shot down the structures have found new residential and commercial use in modern times. The Gasometers have developed a village character all their own and are a city within a city.Numerous theses and dissertations

 in psychology, urban planning,journalism and architecture have been written about this phenomenon.

Indoor facilities include a music hall (capacity 2000–3000 people), movie theatre, student dormitory, municipal archive, and so on.
